Leadership Workshops & Team Development

Sometimes the challenge isn't a lack of talent or experience. It's how people communicate, use their strengths, make decisions, challenge one another and work together.

A focused workshop can create the space to explore what is happening, challenge established ways of thinking and identify what needs to change.

I design and facilitate practical leadership and team development workshops built around the real challenges facing your people and organisation. These are not generic training sessions lifted from a slide deck.

The focus is not simply on learning something new, but on applying that learning to make a difference.

Explore Workshop Options

Every organisation faces different leadership and team challenges. Here are some examples of the workshops I deliver, from developing practical leadership skills to building greater self-awareness, stronger working relationships and more effective teams.

Each workshop is tailored to your organisation's needs, with assessments such as CliftonStrengths, Belbin and ELI incorporated where they can add value.

Assertiveness, Boundaries & Influence

Building confidence to speak up, set healthy boundaries, express different views and challenge constructively.

Delegation, Ownership & Accountability

Moving beyond task allocation to clearer responsibilities, greater trust and genuine ownership of outcomes.

Team Role Awareness & Collaboration

Using Belbin® Team Roles to understand different contributions, identify gaps and overlaps, and improve how teams work together.

Difficult Conversations & Feedback

Addressing challenging issues, delivering constructive feedback and handling conversations with confidence and clarity.

Strengths Awareness & Effective Partnerships

Using CliftonStrengths® to understand individual and collective strengths, uncover blind spots and build stronger working relationships.

Leadership Behaviours & Leading Under Pressure

Using the Energy Leadership® Index where appropriate to explore leadership responses, build self-awareness and strengthen effectiveness under pressure.

Understanding What Sits Beneath The Surface

Sometimes the biggest opportunities for improvement are not immediately obvious.

Where appropriate, I incorporate three established assessment approaches to bring deeper insight into individual leadership and team performance.

CliftonStrengths logo – strengths-based assessment for individual leadership development, team strengths awareness and collaboration.

Discover individual and collective strengths, explore potential blind spots and understand how people can make better use of their talents to strengthen collaboration and performance.

Belbin Team Roles logo – assessment of team contributions, working relationships and effective team collaboration.

Understand how people contribute to a team, where responsibilities or working styles may overlap, and how different approaches can complement one another.

Energy Leadership Index (ELI) logo – leadership assessment exploring self-awareness, leadership behaviours and responses under pressure.

Explore how leaders think, perceive challenges and respond under pressure, creating greater awareness of the attitudes and behaviours influencing their leadership effectiveness.

Assessments are not an end in themselves. Their value comes from understanding what the findings mean and applying that insight to real leadership and organisational challenges.

Practical, Tailored and Focused on Outcomes

Workshops can be delivered online or in person, from focused sessions and half-day workshops to full-day team development events.

Beforehand, we agree what needs to change. During the workshop, participants explore real situations, challenge existing assumptions and identify practical ways forward.

The aim is for people to leave with greater understanding, clearer priorities and actions they can apply in their day-to-day roles.

Workshops can stand alone or form part of a wider leadership development or coaching programme. Each is designed to deliver value in its own right, with no assumption that one engagement needs to lead to another.

What Would Make the Biggest Difference to Your Leaders or Team?

Whether it's improving communication, strengthening accountability or helping your team work more effectively together, the starting point is understanding what needs to change.

Let's discuss the challenges you're facing, what you'd like to achieve and how a focused workshop or assessment-led approach could make a meaningful difference.
