The Teams Alignment & Performance Programme
Turn a Group of Individuals Into a High-Performing, Aligned Team
Most teams don't underperform because they lack talent. They underperform because the talent isn't working together.
Research shows that 86% of workplace failures are attributed to poor collaboration or ineffective communication - not lack of capability. And yet most organisations keep adding people, restructuring roles or running one-day workshops, hoping something will shift. It rarely does. Because the real problems run deeper.
In growing organisations navigating leadership change, hybrid working and increasing pressure to perform, the gap between what a team could deliver and what it actually does is often significant, and costly. You see it in:
Meetings that go in circles and decisions that don't stick.
People working hard in their own lane but not as a unit.
Tension, conflict or personality clashes that drain energy and slow everything down.
A team that's switched off, going through the motions without real ownership or purpose.
Silos that form underneath the surface, until one day the damage is visible.
A culture where people say the right things in the room and something different outside it.
That gap has a real cost. In performance, in culture, in the time you spend managing problems that shouldn't exist, and in the results you're not yet seeing.
As a department leader, HR director or senior leader, you know when a team isn't functioning the way it should. The question is what to do about it - with enough structure, depth and staying power to create genuine, lasting change.
That's what this programme is built to deliver.
The Teams Alignment & Performance Programme is a structured, 12-month coaching journey that transforms how your team thinks, communicates and performs together. Not through a one-day event that people forget by the following Monday. But through sustained development, clear accountability and a shared commitment to becoming what we call a Green Arrow Team.
What Is a Green Arrow Team?
Imagine coming to work on a Monday and your team knows exactly where it's going. Not because you've told them again, but because they own it.
Decisions get made.
Difficult conversations happen early, not late.
People cover for each other rather than protect their own corner.
Meetings move things forward.
Accountability is shared, and it doesn't feel like pressure, it feels like commitment.
That's a Green Arrow Team. A team where every person understands the direction, commits to it and pulls in the same way. Where purpose and values aren't aspirational statements on a wall, they're visible in how the team works together every day.
The weight you currently carry as a leader - the conflict to manage, the gaps to plug, the energy spent holding it all together - doesn't disappear overnight. But it does shift. Because a team operating at this level doesn't need you to manage it. It drives itself.
That's the destination. This programme is how you get there.
Is This For Your Team?
This programme is the right fit if:
Your team has the capability but isn't delivering at the level it should.
Communication has broken down, or trust is fragile, and you can feel the impact on performance and morale.
Personality clashes or unresolved conflict are quietly undermining the team's effectiveness.
People are working hard individually but the team isn't functioning as a cohesive, aligned whole.
You're leading a team through growth, change or a significant transition and the cracks are beginning to show.
Silos have formed, accountability is inconsistent and meetings feel like they're going through the motions.
You've inherited a team that needs direction, structure and a fresh start.
You want measurable, sustainable improvement - not a one-off intervention that fades within weeks.
What Your Team Will Gain
This isn't about making people feel good for a day. It's about building a team that operates at a genuinely higher level, and sustains it.
By the end of the programme your team will:
✔ Be aligned around a clear, shared purpose, strategy and goals - with every person understanding where they fit and what's expected of them.
✔ Communicate with greater openness, clarity and trust - reducing the friction, misunderstanding and conflict that slow teams down.
✔ Understand each other at a deeper level - how each person thinks, leads and contributes - and use that understanding to collaborate more effectively.
✔ Hold themselves and each other accountable in a way that drives performance without creating tension.
✔ Navigate change, pressure and challenge without losing cohesion or direction.
✔ Have a clear, agreed 12-month plan with measurable KPIs, and a shared commitment to delivering on it.
✔ Each team member will earn up to 25 CPD hours and a completion certificate supporting their professional development and HR records.
How It Works
The programme runs over 12 months and is built around two connected phases.
Phase 1: Team Strategy and Alignment Workshop (2 Days)
Before the workshop, every team member completes CliftonStrengths® and Belbin® assessments. These give us a clear, evidence-based picture of the collective talents, preferred working styles and team dynamics - the foundation everything else is built on.
The programme launches with an intensive two-day workshop. Using the R.A.I.S.E. methodology - a proven framework for elevating team performance - the team builds its shared direction together. We examine what's working, what isn't and where the real opportunities lie.
By the end of Day 2, the team will have co-created a focused, one-page 12-month plan with clear goals, priorities and KPIs. Not a document that gets filed away - a living commitment that the whole team owns.
Phase 2: Monthly Coaching and Development
Each month the team comes together for a structured coaching and review session. We assess progress against the plan, identify what's working and what needs to change, set clear goals for the coming month and address emerging challenges before they become embedded problems.
Between sessions, team members track their own progress and the team's collective development on The Curve® - a secure, purpose-built coaching portal that keeps every person aligned and accountable. Progress is visible in real time , not just to the team, but to you as the leader commissioning this work. You have direct visibility into your team's development throughout the year, with clear data to demonstrate ROI to your organisation's leadership.
Where needed, individual 1-to-1 coaching sessions are available for team members who would benefit from dedicated support alongside the group work.
Delivered in person, online or hybrid — structured around your organisation's schedule and pace.
Before You Decide, Consider This.
If your team could be completely honest without fear of judgement, what truths would surface?
How clear is it to each person how their role contributes to the bigger picture?
If you measured performance by outcomes, not activity, what would change?
If those questions are uncomfortable, that's usually a sign the work is worth doing.
