What Makes This Different

Most business owners have advisers — an accountant, a solicitor, maybe a banker. What they rarely have is someone who sits alongside them at the strategic level, understands the full complexity of what they're building, and will have an honest conversation about what's actually going on.

I bring something most business coaches don't. I've spent 34 years working across sectors, have built and run my own businesses, and work every day with SME owners navigating the exact pressures you're facing. I know what it feels like to carry the weight of a business, because I've carried it myself.

Alongside that, I bring a board-level perspective shaped by my work as a Non-Executive Director and Board Adviser, which means I understand governance, strategic accountability and what strong business foundations actually look like. And I bring a genuine, current understanding of the economic, technological and geopolitical forces reshaping the business environment right now - not as theory, but as context that directly informs the decisions we work through together.

When we work together you get an honest, objective, commercially grounded perspective that's very hard to find when you're inside the business. Someone who will challenge your thinking, hold you accountable and help you make better decisions, not tell you what you want to hear.

How It Works

The programme runs over 12 months and is structured in two phases.

Phase 1: Strategic Business Review and Planning (2 Days)

Before we begin, you'll complete a CliftonStrengths® assessment to bring your natural strengths and working style into focus. In our two-day kickoff, we conduct a thorough review of your business - your strategy, your challenges, your goals and what success genuinely looks like for you over the next 12 months.

Using the R.A.I.S.E. methodology, we build a clear, one-page annual business development plan with bold goals, monthly milestones and the priorities that will drive your growth. You'll leave with a plan you actually believe in and a clear picture of how we'll work through it together.

Phase 2: Monthly Coaching and Strategy Sessions

Each month we work together in focused coaching sessions - one session or two per month depending on your preference, totalling 2 to 3 hours. Before each session you'll update your progress on The Curve® platform, so we arrive prepared and focused.

In the session we review the previous month, address what's working and what isn't, set clear goals for the month ahead and work through the strategic and leadership challenges that are live for you right now. Every session ends with clarity and a clear next step.

Between sessions The Curve® keeps your goals visible, your progress measurable and your accountability real, giving you a clear picture of ROI throughout the year.
